OUR MISSION

Driven by a deep commitment to follow Jesus, we leave behind our careers and loved ones to make a difference in a place that lacks many of the resources we take for granted.

For us, it begins and ends with God’s love, which has absolutely transformed our hearts. As His love continues to shape us more into Jesus’ likeness, we have begun to care more about what He cares about - the vulnerable and marginalized. His attention was focused on those hurting and broken - both spiritually and physically.

We aim to follow in his footsteps.

HOW WE SERVE

We juggle many responsibilities each day in Kenya, from educating our children to hosting visitors, but here are some key areas where we concentrate our efforts within the hospital and the community

HEALTHCARE FOR THE MARGINALIZED

Jack works at Kapsowar Mission Hospital as the only Internal Medicine/Pediatric physician in a highly under resourced setting. Jack works in the newborn unit, pediatric ward, and adult ward, consult service, and assists with emergencies in the emergency department.

SOCIAL WORK

Regan supports the social work department in finding critical solutions for our most vulnerable patients—whether it's securing formula for malnourished children, arranging CT scans for those without access, or sourcing funds to cover medical bills for patients who can’t afford care.

HOSPITAL FUNDRAISING

Drawing on her background in film and photography, Regan creates engaging content for the hospital. She also helps manage relationships with visitors as she seeks to cultivate donors for the hospital. She is in the beginning stages of developing a non-profit that can help resource the many needs of the hospital and patients.
