ABOUT US

  • Jack grew up in Monterey, California. He did his undergraduate work at the University of Notre Dame. In 2010, Jack visited Haiti for the first time and was there for the devastating earthquake. The poverty and suffering he saw led him to pursue a career in medicine in public health.

Jack completed his medical school and public health training at the University of Miami in 2016. He then completed his residency training in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at the University of California San Diego in 2021. He worked as a hospitalist in 2022 in Santa Cruz.

Jack enjoys the outdoors including running, hiking, soccer, and backpacking. He also enjoys reading and studying world history.

  • Regan grew up in South Florida. After her first short term mission trip in high school to Ethiopia, she knew her life would never be the same. She decided to pursue missions and attended Columbia International University for undergrad.

After college, while serving in a campus ministry in Miami, she met Jack, who had just started medical school. Knowing there was a long road of training ahead for them, she continued to pursue her passion for visual storytelling and launched Regan Elizabeth Films in 2014. Through her business she captures weddings and tells stories for non-profits around the world.

When Regan isn’t keeping her three young children alive or editing films, she loves time in the sun and warm water where you can find her surfing or snorkeling. She also enjoys playing soccer and relaxing with a good book.

  • Micah is an energetic and enthusiastic five year old. He loves figuring out how things work by taking them apart and putting them back together. He is very passionate about all things with wheels - cars, trains, and his current favorite - airplanes. He is always eager to listen to a good book.

Most days in Kapsowar you'll find him running around and exploring with his friends on our mission station.

  • Sage is our sweet two year old. She loves all animals, as you'll often find her feeding the local pig or chasing a cat to pet. She is also fascinated by music, and loves to sing and dance at all times. She is loving being a big sister and always quick to take care of her baby dolls and her little brother.

She loves spending time on our mission station digging in the sand pile or swinging on the tire swing.

  • Judah is our newest addition, born September 16, 2024. We are enjoying all of his sweet newborn cuteness!
